Taiwan Through Time is a series that aims to give a detailed account of the history of the island of Taiwan, from the dawn of humanity to the present day.
James Shone, our host, is a South African and a teacher who lived and worked in Taiwan for over a decade, though now he is once again in his home country. He hopes that his accumulated knowledge of Taiwan, his ongoing studies and the fact he was an outsider will give a clearer and more objective perspective on the history of Taiwan.
